Educational Responsible Media and Marketing

A VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAM EXPLORING BUSINESS ETHICS AND MEDIA DEVELOPMENT, MARKETING, BRAND POSITIONING, AND RELATED TECHNICAL SKILLS WITH AN IMMERSIVE EXTENDED INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE PROVIDED BY GLOBAL CHANGE MEDIA.

This program provides insight into business ethics, media, and socially responsible marketing with a unique perspective of understanding the nature of potential customers, and for positioning content and brands that have a higher-consciousness message. Training in a technical skill of interest to the student is a primary component of this program.

In addition to on-campus study, this Vocational Education program can include off-campus Extended Internship experiences with Global Change Media and/or on-campus Extended Internship experiences with Future Studios.

Extended Internship: Global Change Media

Global Change Media is a progressive creative agency based on the UASPR campus. Global Change Media produces audio and video assets, websites, custom software, print graphics and advertisements, and event production services for primarily nonprofit businesses with socially responsible marketing practices and meaningful messages for global change. Applied Learning Opportunities

This vocational education program is supported by The Sea Of Glass—Center For The Arts, a performance venue in Tucson, Arizona, where students may have the opportunity for applying their learned skills during live music performances; and by Global Change Music, a nonprofit record label supporting the affiliated Musicians That Need To Be Heard Network; and by KVAN Visionary Radio providing the opportunity to work onsite in their radio station at The Sea Of Glass; and by Future Studios, an on-campus state of the art recording studio, providing opportunities to work with recording artists and audio production equipment.
