Gabriel is the co-founder of Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage and the visionary behind all of its areas of outreach and service, along with Niánn Emerson Chase. Gabriel is an activist, the founder of the Spiritualution℠ — Justice to the People movement, a published author of several internationally distributed books and articles, a musician and leader of a 12-piece Global Change Music band, and a spiritual leader and teacher whose mission is to change the world and to help individuals actualize their highest destinies and talents for the good of humanity.
Niánn has more than forty years of teaching, counseling, and administrative experience across age groups in both public and private school systems. A published author of many books and articles, Niánn is a life-long educator with an explorer's nature inherent in her ancestors Meriwether Lewis and Ralph Waldo Emerson. She is the Executive Director of the Global Community Communications Schools — both for the adult and the children's school divisions.
TiyiEndea came to Avalon Gardens in 1995 from Austin, Texas with a background in midwifery, the arts, and music. She serves as a record producer with nonprofit record label Global Change Music and has been a design consultant and project manager for EcoVillage development at Avalon Gardens since 1995.
Marayeh attended the University of Texas, graduating with a Ph.D. in psychology and later earned a place in the "Who's Who of American Women" during her 30+ years as a clinical psychologist. Since 1993, she has served as a counselor at Avalon Gardens, working to develop methodologies of social coherence and conflict resolution in communities. In 2007 she became Executive Director of our Soulistic Hospice and Soulistic Medical Institute — outreaches where she continues to serve.
Centria has over three-decades of experience in nonprofit financial management where she has worked as chief financial officer of Global Community Communications Alliance and as a liaison administrator with numerous affiliated nonprofit organizations. Prior to her role as CFO with Soulistic Hospice, Centria served as Executive Director of International and Local Adoptions in Hawaii, as a Guardian Ad Litem advocating the rights of children removed from their homes due to neglect and abuse, and as a counselor to teen parents. She has been a business consultant, co-coordinator, and project manager for all eco-building and sustainable landscape-design projects for Avalon Gardens since 1993, specializing in management of alternative building techniques.
Dr. Lee has over forty years of experience coordinating educational programs and curriculum design for Global Community Communications Schools, as well as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Education at Pacific Lutheran University and Western Oregon State University, and as a teacher of visual arts, language arts, social sciences, cultural and research studies, and children’s literature. She has more than ten years of counseling and advising; experience in business, art, music, and writing; and is a published author of professional literature in her field.
TaliSeen JahRing has worked internationally on farms holding various positions from harvest manager to consultant. Now settled in Southern Arizona, he serves as a full-time volunteer with Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage where he heads up the organic food production of the 215-acre property specializing in management of permaculture and regenerative food systems. A relentless problem solver, TaliSeen has built custom gardening-tools to assist in chemical-free planting and weed control. He is also a technology pioneer, launching web-technologies to empower others to succeed in non-corporate organic farming. As a technology lead, he also teaches and inspires students to think creatively as to how to use technological solutions for environmental problems in a holistic way. An avid musician, when TaliSeen isn't in the gardens or on the computer, you're likely to find him improvising on the piano.
Selendra is a staff writer for the Alternative Voice and an ordained Minister & Spiritual Ambassador of Global Community Communications Alliance. She has worked for many years as a counselor. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Selendra grew up near Philadelphia where she had an early career in freelance writing and radio voiceovers. Today she applies her interpersonal experience to providing counseling and education to students of the University.
Originally from Europe, where he grew up in Germany and Italy, Tarenta has lived and trained in intentional communities for more than 25 years. At a young age, he became a member of the German Stonemason & Sculptor Guild, specializing in stone restoration. After immigrating to North America, he lived and taught self-sufficient living for seven years with Native American Elders and now, since 1993, serves as a Master Gardener at Avalon Gardens.
Arlin has a background in healing and education, having studied at the Health Enrichment Center School of Therapeutic Massage in Michigan. He has been with the University for over 25 years, supporting students in their pursuit of higher education and spiritual understanding. Arlin is an elder of Divine Administration, serving the University at the highest capacity as a full-time residential volunteer.
Born and raised at Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage, Amadon has a lifetime of experience and an excellent overview of all aspects of this growing sustainable community. Amadon is the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Global Change Media. Amadon uses conscious media to educate and inspire others to live a more spiritually-aware, sustainable lifestyle.
Before moving to Arizona and becoming a part of the University in 1996, Mycenay lived in Florida and spent time studying art and history in Florence, Italy. Since becoming a part of the University faculty she has always been active in community building, and works extensively in the music & art outreaches sponsored by the University. Mycenay is a Home Study Course facilitator and an on-campus Teacher.
The University co-founders lead a Sunday Teaching every week open to all students and members of the public.
Curriculum writer Niánn Emerson Chase has over 30-years experience working with starseed students and creating unique educational programs tailored to students of different soul-experience.
Each student is assigned a designated counselor who helps advise the student while enrolled in the University.
